The NEWSBREAKER! platform is savvy to the reality of the matter that misrepresentation is (and quickly so) becoming a problematic thing upon the predominantly neutral territory of the internet. The simple consideration “let the buyer beware” is not only seemingly a fair warning (at this point), but furthermore, what are we even able to trust in terms of online publications without having and IQ of 140 and a previous knowledge base of many different subject matters and even those to a very high degree of understanding.

The NB! app makes sure that when a user uploads a video that the video was recorded directly at the point in time just before it was uploaded as well as on the device it was uploaded from; even further, that when the video was uploaded, it did not contain any non-raw footage (meaning that any video that passes through the NEWSBREAKER! servers is the actual video that was recorded and has not been edited in any way [TrueVid Technology]).

All videos uploaded from the NB! app to the NEWSBREAKER! servers are authenticity stamped on blockchain. When you see a NB! watermarked video on social media, there will always be some way to double check the video details in order to ensure that the video you’re seeing is the actual video that the original uploader provided (as well as the account name of that uploader and the date and time the video was uploaded).

Whereas some sites have the appreciation of considering certain things are ‘validated’ (by that site) as verified or validated, NEWSBREAKER! does not take quite that same approach – For a website to indicate that it believes a photo is “authentic”, that site is merely just providing a seemingly educated opinion (unless it was there with the photographer and retained a copy of the image right then and there and kept that copy of the image, perhaps checksummed it or something…). The reality of the matter is that it is exceedingly difficult to ‘authenticity validate” something unless you produced it yourself. The NEWSBREAKER! servers work with the NB! app as well as various levels of technology to “authenticity invalidate” certain reports given certain considerations. Although a user can be verified in terms of noting a copy of their ID or proving proof of address or even merely confirming a phone number, if a video report is uplaoded but doesn’t come from the same source the users account is on, or that the video that was recorded does not match the checksum of the video that was uploaded or even that perhaps some of the video has been edited from its originally recorded state; these kinds of noticeable events provide that a video can be attested as “authenticity invalidated”.
